construction.Feature(kind, faces, *, axis=None, solid=None, profiles=())

The record a generator leaves on the profiles it consumed.

extrude(profile, depth) returns an SDF, and the SDF is the thing the renderer wants — but the viewer addresses geometry by the sketch that produced it. Registering the feature on its profile is what lets the construction payload list a sketch’s faces without the payload builder ever seeing the SDF tree.
